“Construction of in-situ preservation model of dipterocarpaceae planted on sandy soil in Bình châu – Phước bửu Nature Reserve”, by MSc. Vũ Thị Quyền, the Ho Chi Minh city Research Centre for Pets and Ornamental Plants Services.

The project aims to determine the ecological factors having a direct impact on the growth of some dipterocarpaceae. Consequently, it contributes to improving the resilience of dipterocarpaceae in the Binh chau – Phuoc buu Nature Reserve.

The Provincially Scientific Committee highly appreciated the feasibility and imperativeness of the project to Bình châu – Phước bửu nature reserve in particular as well as to natural forests in Viet nam in general. The Committee approved the project proposal. However, they also asked the leader of the project to adjust the title of the project in accordance with scope of study as well as correct the objectives and content of the project. As a result, the implementation of the project would bring about high economic efficiency and contribute to environmental protection.
