84 buses transporting passengers, civil officials to the provincial Administrative Center in 09/2011

Under the guidance of the provincial People’s Committee on the development of public transport by bus to meet the demand for travel of citizens, civil servants and official in particular, The Department of Transport considered the plan to transport public passengers, civil servants – officials by buses.

Under the guidance of the provincial People’s Committee on the development of public transport by bus to meet the demand for travel of citizens, civil servants and official in particular, The Department of Transport considered the plan to transport public passengers, civil servants – officials by buses. According to the plan of the Department of Transport, 84 buses B50 (27 seats, 23 standing) in conformity with city buses standard will be put into operation by September 2011 to meet the demand for travel of passengers and civil servants - officials from Vung Tau City to the provincial Administrative Center in Ba Ria town.

Accordingly, these 84 buses will be divided into four following itineraries: itinerary 1 (corresponding to the bus No. 4) has 18 buses; itinerary 2 (corresponding to bus No. 9) has 14 buses with the frequency rate of 20 minutes / tour and 30 minutes /tour when off-peak hours. Itinerary 3 (corresponding to bus No. 6) with frequency of 12 minutes/ tour, and 20 minutes / tour when the off-peak hours; this itinerary has 26 buses. The itinerary 4 (corresponding to bus No. 22) has 26 buses with a frequency of 20 minutes / tour and 30 minutes /tours on the off-peak hours. Time of operation of these buses is from 5:00am to 17:00pm daily. When the provincial Administrative Center goes into operation stably, the Department of Transport will coordinate with transport businesses, cooperatives to research travel needs of civil servants-officials to adjust itineraries, schedules, frequency of driving accordingly.
