Đà Nẵng City continued top the Information and Communication Technology Index for the third consecutive year, according to a report released by the Office of the National Steering Committee for Information and Communication Technology on Friday.

The country’s economic locomotive, Hồ Chí Minh City secured its second position meanwhile the northern province of Bắc Ninh impressively jumped 24 ranks to the top three.

The report provides detailed evaluation of ICT readiness in various areas, including technical infrastructure, application, human resources, production and business, organizational environment-policy among all provinces and cities throughout Việt Nam.

This year’s report was made on the basis of 35 norms, two more compared with the that of the previous year.

This is the seventh year this kind of report has been publicized.
