Its current products are vegetables, orchid, mushroom, among others. Investors who have started their projects there include Nhiệt Đới Investment Joint Stock Company, Chanh Phong Agricultural Company, Việt Quốc Thịnh Trading Company, and Việt Thụy Phát Clean Vegetable Company. Built on 88.17 hectares in Củ Chi District at a cost of about VND152.6 billion ($8.03 million), the park is expected to promote the transfer of technology, and research and training in agriculture. It provides a model of hi-tech agricultural production for farmers, helping them shift from traditional farming methods to hi-tech ones, according to a statement released by the board. Apart from this, Hồ Chí Minh City authorities said they will speed up other two projects, namely Bio-technology Center in District 12 and Agriculture Exhibition Center in Củ Chi District in order to support hi-tech agricultural production in the city as well as its neighboring provinces.
Hi-tech agricultural park lures over VND 450 bln
The Hồ Chí Minh City hi-tech agricultural park has lured 14 projects with a total registered capital of VND 452 billion after seven years of establishment.
