According to report of the Department of Planning and Investment, in the first 9 months 2011, province has granted certificate for 18 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with total registed capital of USD 548 million, 6 projects adjusted to increase investment capital with total capital rose by USD 44 million. Since the beginning of this year till now, implementation capital of FDI projects reached USD 855 million, equal 71.25% plan, increased 4.27% over the same period last year. Also in the first 9 months, there were 27 domestic projects be granted investment certificate with total registed capital of VND 7,369.6 billion. Imlementation capital of domestic projects reached about VND 5,858 billion, equals 72.67% plan, rose 2.45% comparison with the same period 2010.
