Vietnam to drum up love duets in France

Vietnam will organize an event with great fanfare to promote Vietnam’s Quan ho Bac Ninh (Bac Ninh love duets) in France from January 22 to February 22.
The program will introduce the traditional Vietnamese music genre recognized by UNESCO as an intangible world cultural heritage. There will be an exhibition at the Vietnamese Cultural Center in Paris featuring about 50 photos, items and movies and presentations about quan ho.

The program will introduce the traditional Vietnamese music genre recognized by UNESCO as an intangible world cultural heritage.

There will be an exhibition at the Vietnamese Cultural Center in Paris featuring about 50 photos, items and movies and presentations about quan ho. Two local art troupes with a total of 17 members will be joining the program in Paris and other French cities.

The program is jointly organized by the Vietnam Culture and Art Academy, the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France and the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces.
