Therefore, to develop SI in future, Ba Ria - Vung Tau need to give priority over training high quality human resources, which focus on training Japanese in order to meet demand for labor recruitment of Japanese companies.

Therefore, to develop SI in future, Ba Ria - Vung Tau need to give priority over training high quality human resources, which focus on training Japanese in order to meet demand for labor recruitment of Japanese companies.

Mr. Ho Van Nien, Deputy Chairman of BR-VT province, said to develop SI, Ba Ria - Vung Tau urged to attract abroad investment, especially from Japanese companies.

As reported by the Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT), in 2011, the province organized training for 25,500 workers, increased the rate of trained laborers to 58%. Ba Ria - Vung Tau, therefore, has considerable human resources to serve industrial development in the time being. In fact, nowadays, according to the common assessment, BR-VT human resources lack a technically qualified and skilled labour force, particularly the ones who are short of language skills, especially Japanese.

Ms. Tran Thi Huong – Director of DoIT – says, “In the period 2011 – 2020, policies of human resource development of the province will aim to SI businesses, especially mechanical, electrical and electronic industries.

The province will set aside a budget for construction of key programs to develop human resources for industrial production; Innovate training programs, machinery, equipment used in training, share information, work...Of which focus in improving contents of vocational training programs to suit each stage of SI development, attach special importance on cybernetics and precision processing, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering ... In addition, gave concerns to investment in technical infrastructure and human resources for technically vocational schools, training centers in the province.

What is more, the province will create favorable conditions for land, premises and infrastructure, encourage domestic and foreign investors to open high - quality vocational schools, training centers in the province. The vocational schools should create close relationships with businesses in the fields of manufacturing of Japan and develop Japanese language education programs. Organize short-term skills training courses according to sectors of business such as business management, production management, finance, especially production system.
