PetroVietnam (PVN) shall do its utmost to implement successfully targets in 2012, such as increasing reserves of 30-35 million tons of oil equivalent, exploiting 24.81 million tons of oil equivalent; revenue of VND660 trillion ; paying about VND135 trillion to the State budget, according to PVN.

To fulfill the above plan, PVN will implement a number of measures such as speeding up, directing to carry out drastically 3 breakthrough solutions (on management, science and technology, and human resource development). Intensifying research and application of science and technology solutions, training and close supervision of oil and gas operation, safety, ecological environment protection, actively participating in defense of national sovereignty on sea. In addition, continue promoting implementation of the Resolution No. 233/NQ- ĐU of the Party Committee of PVN on priority to use services of the oil and gas industry, contend to increase the oil and gas service sales by 20% over 2011.
