On March 22, Mr.Ho Van Nien, Deputy Provincial Chairman had a meeting with the Netherlands’ Shipping and Transport Collecge (STC Group), led by Mr.Erick Hietbrink, Chairman of the Board of Directors of STC Group.
At the meeting, Mr.Ho Van Nien said that, in the survey in Europe, the provincial leaders met and learnt about STC Group. This is the Group has “trade mark” in human resource in the fields of maritime transport, port, logistics.

Also at the meeting, STC-Group and Ba Ria-Vung Tau University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in training.
Under the MoU, the two sides will establish a joint venture company which will provide training in shipping services and the logistics industry.
STC-Group will provide educational infrastructure based on the international standards of the shipping and logistics sector, and share experiences in international education and human resource training.
The group will also support Ba Ria-Vung Tau University in running the company for five years, establish new research methods to receive important orders from other partners in this industry as well as providing consultancy for design and construction.
Ba Ria-Vung Tau University will be responsible for administrative formalities, and ensuring material facilities of classes are in conformity with international standards.
