With the purpose of helping farmers study and practice mining, organizing, storage and dissemination of science and technology information skills, on the morning of the October, 8th, in Long Dien district, Centre for Information Science and Information Technology ( Department of Science and Technology) held Science and Technology Telecommunications Dissemination Contest in Long Dien District 2012.

7 teams  took part in this year’s contests, including: An Ngai, Long Hai, An Nhut, Phuoc Tinh, Phuoc Hung, Long Dien and Tam Phuoc Commune

The teams have to go through 3 rounds including: Skits (performing skits that contain the information technology applications in life Construction Information Technology application knowledge (answer multiple-choice questions about the knowledge of information technology application and perform searching science and technology information manipulation), and Presentation.

Through the contest, the benefits of science and technology for farmers’ living were expressed vividly by all teams. Internet is no longer strange to farmers. Thanks to the Internet, farmers have more conditions to access useful information to apply to actual production, increase their incomes and improve their lives.

In the round Skits, ‘Farmers in Integration times’ of Tam Phuoc Commune excellently won the prize: ‘ Best of Theatre‘.

In the round Information Technology application knowledge (answer multiple-choice questions about the knowledge of information technology application and practice seeking science and technology information manipulation), all the teams did really good jobs. Tam Phuoc Commune won this round with the prize ‘Fastest seeking information Team’. In the presentation part, with confident bravery and meaningful yet deep Content, Long Hai Commune won the prize ‘Best Presenting Team’.

The final result is: Tam Phuoc brilliantly won the first prize, Phuoc Hung came second and Long Hai got the third position. In addition, the organizers gave 4 consolation prizes and 3 sub-prizes.

As scheduled, the finale will be held on October 30th at Culture and Sports Center of Ba Ria City.
