On 23/11/2012, Computer and Information Science and Technology Center held a conference named "Collaborators, information users and Electronic Information Science and Technology Stations in Ba Ria - Vung Tau in 2012," hosted by Mr.Thai Quoc Viet, deputy director of the Center. The conference attracted over 70 delegates representing Farmers Association of districts, communes, Veterans Affairs, Provincial Division, information science and technology station offcials and other departments and sectors in the province to attend.

At the conference, Mr. Thai Quoc Viet on behalf of the Center for Computing and Information Science and Technology Department of Science and Technology Ba Ria - Vung Tau, reported on editorial tasks, publish newsletters and website from 2009 to 2012, contributing to bring scientific and technological information to each commune / ward and orientations in the up coming years.

In the last three years, the Center for Information and Communication Science and Technology has focused on the work of editing, publishing newsletters, updating website of the Department as well as the websites of districts and communes. The center in collaboration with Provincial Farmers Association and Provincial Youth held training courses and organized Sicence and Technology Telecomnunication Disemination Contest for audiences of farmers and youth. Therefore, the information technology gap between rural and urban areas is shortened. People in rural areas have been able to keep up with scientific and technological achievements to apply to actual production.

Active network of collaborators has been relatively stable, innovative and in-depth these days. Science and Technology Information has basically met the requirements of users with different subjects. Released newsletters information of the Department of Science and Technology were applied widely by farmers to adopt efficient production and life, bring about a positive effect on society.
