The Association of Clean Water and Environment has coordinated with the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Vocational College to visit and work with the Polytechnic University of Da Nang. In the working program, the two sides exchanged views and learnt experience of faculties of environment, mechanics, electrics, international cooperation; especially in the field of solar energy technology in cooking and hot water system – This technology has been put into production to serve people in energy efficiency programs of Da Nang city. At the meeting, leader of the Da Nang Polytechnic University committed to support the technology transfer for the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Vocational College. Currently, the Clean Water and Environment Association and the BR-VT Vocational College are researching the project of using cooker and hot water system from solar energy. Preferred object of the project is the poor to reduce the cost of fuel and deforestation in rural areas.

According to the research of the Clean Water and Environment Association of Ba Ria- Vung Tau, climate in Ba Ria-Vung Tau is always sunny all the year, an ideal condition for using solar energy in cooking food, boiling water.
