Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, network security director of Vietnam’s leading network security company--Bkav, said that Bkav has not recorded any attack to Vietnam from the historical DDoS (denial of service) attacks that are happening in the world.

Earlier, some local newspapers reported that Internet users in the world were suffering from bad Internet access speed, caused by DDoS attacks launched by hackers.

The attacks have blocked the access to some websites. Experts predict that the situation will become more serious and the networks of banks and e-mail systems will be affected in the future.

Duc said that the subjects of the attacks include server service providers, such as Spamhaus and CloudFlare. Therefore, Internet users are difficult to access to the websites based on servers of these suppliers.

In Vietnam, VietNamNet online newspaper used to be attacked by hackers with DDoS for a long time.
