Delegation of 5 provinces visited Truong Sa and DK1 housing platform

On the afternoon of 28 April, at the Naval port - Region 4  (Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa province), the High Command of Naval Command  - Region 4 celebrated the depart of the official delegation of 5 provinces and city for visiting  Truong Sa (Spartly) Island and the DK1 housing platform

On the afternoon of 28 April, at the Naval port - Region 4  (Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa province), the High Command of Naval Command  - Region 4 celebrated the depart of the official delegation of 5 provinces and city for visiting  Truong Sa (Spartly) Island and the DK1 housing platform.

Participating the mission is the officer delegation representing the provinces, cities Khanh Hoa, Bac Kan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Hai Phong, Binh Dinh and Tuong Vinh district (Vinh Phuc province) and representatives of units: PetroVietnam, Bank of North Asia, Vietnam Writers' Association, Vietnam Association of artists. The work period is scheduled within 10 days (from 28-4 to 7-5-2014). The total number of participants includes 200 delegations, led by Mr. Le Thanh Quang, Khanh Hoa’s Provincial Party Committee Secretary. The delegation of Ba Ria - Vung Tau has 22 people, who are representatives of the leadership of departments, agencies and organizations in the province, reporters of Ba Ria - Vung Tau newspaper, Radio - Television Station of BR-VT led by Mr. Tran Van Dau, Deputy Director of the Department of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs.

During the work, the delegation will visit and give gifts to officers, soldiers and people who are working and living in the islands: Song Tu Tay, Da Nam, Son Ca, Da Thi, Nam Yet, Sinh Ton, Ms. Lin, Truong Sa Dong,  bid Spratly Island and other housing platforms Phuc Tan, DK1/17, DK1 / 2.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's  Council, the People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau offered VND283 million for military units, administrative units and households on the Spratly Island and some housing platforms of DK1. In addition, agencies and localities also donated VND43.6 million in cash, 40 phone cards, 8 cartons of books, newspapers, confectionery, food and other supplies to people and soldiers
