Mr.Vuong Quang Can, Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology as chairman of Selection Council.

Goal of project is to identify components in species and density of nematodes damaging broccoli, bitter melon and egg-plant; effectively prevent nematodes damaging these vegetables by probiotics, contributing to development of safe vegetable production towards bio-organic. Time to implement project is expected within 24 months (July/2014-July/2016).

Selection Council comments that subject is new and has high applicability in local practice, however, the Council also required subject chairman to edit some contents such as: broccoli is short crops, so it should not necessarily prevent nematodes; project title needed to be edited into "Research and application of probiotics prevent nematode damaging bitter melon and egg-plant, .... and agreed to implement it.
