On June 25^th, Department of Science and Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau organized selecting project “Apply advanced technical improvement and intensive farming of fruiter in Long Phuoc commune, Ba Ria city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province" by MSc Mai Van Tri as project leader, lead agency is Southeast Fruit Research Center. Chairman of Selection Committee is Mr.Vuong Quang Can, Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

On June 25^th, Department of Science and Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau organized selecting project “Apply advanced technical improvement and intensive farming of fruiter in Long Phuoc commune, Ba Ria city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province" by MSc Mai Van Tri as project leader, lead agency is Southeast Fruit Research Center. Chairman of Selection Committee is Mr.Vuong Quang Can, Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

Goal of project is to transfer technical improvement, intensive farming of fruiter to improve quality, increase productivity and contribute to improve the efficiency of producing some fruit trees (rambutan, durian, jackfruit, mangosteen, pomelo green) in Long Phuoc commune, Ba Ria city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

The project is agreed by Selection Committee to implement, however, need to complete its objectives and content to obtain high results. Duration to deploy project is 36 months (October, 2014 – October, 2017). And total investment cost is expected to be over 1.5 billion VND.
