On July 23^rd, 2014 Department of Science & Technology BR-VT Province organized a subject selection council on situation and measures to improve awareness of following up traffic safety laws for the youth. Paticipants include presentations of Dr.Nguyen Quynh Anh (Academy of Urban Learning – Binh Duong) and MA.Tran Van Mang (HCM Communist Youth Union of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province). Mr.Mai Thanh Quang – Director of Department of Science & Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau is council chairman. 

On July 23^rd, 2014 Department of Science & Technology BR-VT Province organized a subject selection council on situation and measures to improve awareness of following up traffic safety laws for the youth. Paticipants include presentations of Dr.Nguyen Quynh Anh (Academy of Urban Learning – Binh Duong) and MA.Tran Van Mang (HCM Communist Youth Union of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province). The subject is to improve awareness of following up traffic safety laws to minimize accidents among the youth in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. Here is a mandatory topic for a province of tourism like BR-VT province, and traffic safety situation among the youth is more and more complicated. According to evaluation of provincial Traffic Safety Committee, from June 2013 to February 2014, nearly 50% of traffic accidents in BR-VT are caused by the young age with number of 257 cases during the last time. Besides, subject is a main content in national strategy to ensure road traffic safety until the year of 2020 and vision to 2030 approved by Prime Minister in Decision No.1586/QD-TTG dated October 24^th, 2012.   

The Council evaluates that presentation of Dr.Nguyen Quynh Anh is high qualitative, presentation of MA.Tran Van Mang is more practical with relatively detailed provincial investigation data and agrees to qualify the second for performance. However, the Council requested the chairman to complete all its contents for higher results, such as research objects must be classified clearly, model and measures need to be more specific etc.
