On July 22^nd, 2014 Department of Science & Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province organized to accept a subject “Study of factors affecting water quality in Da Den Lake and propose general management measures” by subject’s chairmans Dr.Le Viet Thang and Dr.Nguyen Hong Quan, the lead agency is Thu Dau Mot University (Binh Duong province). Mr.Vuong Quang Can, Deputy Director of Department of Science & Technology is chairman of acceptance council.

On July 22^nd, 2014 Department of Science & Technology Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province organized to accept a subject “Study of factors affecting water quality in Da Den Lake  and propose general management measures” by subject’s chairmans Dr.Le Viet Thang and Dr.Nguyen Hong Quan, the lead agency is Thu Dau Mot University (Binh Duong). Mr.Vuong Quang Can, Deputy Director of Department of Science & Technology is chairman of acceptance council.

The subject is to propose general management measures of water quality in Da Den Lake, guarantee water supply safety, based on evaluation on current situation and factors affecting water quality in the lake. Evaluate current situation of water quality of Da Den Lake  and headwater rivers around; determine and evaluate factors affecting water quality in the lake; apply mathematical models to assess changes in water quality and capacity to receive waste water from the lake; propose a total solution to manage and protect water quality of Da Den Lake . Execution time of project is within18 months at a cost of over 1.1 billion VND.

According to Mr. Vuong Quang Can, Chairman of acceptance council, Da Den Lake  towards the province is very important, need to have a detailed analysis in factors affecting water quality here. The subject was accepted by council’s members and graded fairly. However, the chairman needs to modify some contents based on opinions of acceptance council.
