On 29 August, 2014 Emulation Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau  Province celebrated to award the title of Hero of Labor for Busadco. Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung and leaders of Party provincial committee,  People’s Committee, representatives of departments, sector of BR-VT.

On 29 August, 2014 Emulation Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau  Province celebrated to award the title of Hero of Labor for Busadco. Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung and leaders of Party provincial committee,  People’s Committee, representatives of departments, sector of BR-VT.  

At the ceremony, Mr.Vo Van Nam, Deputy Director of Department of Internal Affairs, Head of Emulation Council of BR-VT publicized Decision No. 2365 / QD-CTN dated 13 December 2013 of the President of Social Republic of Vietnam awarding the title of Hero of Labor for Busadco because "there were particularly outstanding achievements in labor, creativity, contributing to socialist construction and national defense. "Mr.Vo Van Nam said here is the first enterprise of BR-VT was awarded the title Hero of Labor in the renovation period. Earlier, in 2011, Chairman and CEO Busadco - Dr.Hoang Duc Thao - was also awarded the title Hero of Labor.

Busadco was established on 09 January 2003, the first science and technology enterprise of the country. In the area of ​​public works, Busadco is leading urban drainage sector of the country. Labor productivity in dredging drainage system is 10 times higher than the level of the State and other entities; put stuff to replace mechanical dredging craft, avoid dangers and hazards to workers. Actively prevent widespread flooding, remove all the flooding; stop waste water discharged directly into the beaches, resorts, transport all wastewater from central areas, tourist areas, public areas and densely populated areas. The company also handles the stench inside the sewer, manhole sump loading surface and spread out in the streets; minimize odors in regulating reservoirs, lakes and open system of main drainage canals in Vung Tau City and contribute to improving the urban environment of the province, helping Vung Tau City rated as one of tourist spots of green, clean and beautiful of Vietnam.

In the area of investor of projects to build drainage system and environmental protection, Busadco actively promotes, searchs funding, non-funded aid and loans with low interest productivity of foreign organizations which bring many benefits to the country. Currently, Busadco is owner of 7 ODA projects with total value over 5,000 billion VND. Reportedly, Busadco has successfully studied more than 30 scientific works, including 23 major awards in the field of science and technology in the country and internationally.

In the framework of the ceremony, Busadco also held a innovative technology show of Busadco, announced two new products, Busadco technique Trench and assembled embankment for bank and sea dike protection of Vietnam.
