Technical training on treatment solutions of livestock and poultry waste

In two days (18 September and 19 September, 2014), Center for Application of Science & Technology Progress (under Department of Science & Technology BR-VT) in collaboration with Center for Research and Science and Technology Transfer (Nong Lam University - HCMC) organized training class “Treatment solutions of livestock and poultry waste in cooperatives and farms”. Mr. Vuong Quang Can – Deputy Director of Department of Science & Technology spoke opening of training class. Reporter is Mr. Duong Nguyen Khang – Ass.Professor - Dr. Director of Center for Research and Science Technology Transfer. Objectives of training class are specialists of Economy and Infrastructure Department of districts and cities in BR-VT, head of farms, cooperatives and breeding households.

At the training class, participants were presented by reporter on content relating to environmental pollution problems in breeding and management of livestock waste - application of cleaner production technologies for livestock production following VietGAP direction, technical handling animal waste in biogas technology, engineering livestock waste treatment technology by cushioned microbiology; and legislation on environment protection of livestock industry.

At the training class, learners discuss and exchange opinions excitingly on problems relating to waste treatment in breeding at cooperatives, farms and household, besides reporter also answered complaints of learners.
