The conference to deploy, spread Circular 21 and relevant documents

On 29 January, 2015 Sub-Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (Department of Science & Technology BR-VT) held a conference to deploy, spread Circular 21 and relevant documents. Participants included representatives of production units, importers, businesses of circulation prepackaged goods, state units on measurement of Ba Ria-Vung Tau. Reporter was Nguyen Ngoc Hue, lecturer of Professional Training Centre under Department of Standards, Measurement, Quality.

At the conference, reporter Nguyen Ngoc Hue guided contents such as summary on prepackaged goods; deploy Circular 21 regulating on measuring prepackaged goods; Circular 28 regulating on state check for prepackaged goods; process of evaluating measurement towards quality of prepacked goods; behaviors and dealing with administrative violations of pre-packed goods; articles, specific law documents towards state management on prepacked goods.   

 

 Circular 21 regulating measurement towards quantity of prepacked goods includes contents: Require measurement technique towards quantity of prepacked goods; list of prepacked goods group 2; quantitative seal; declare using quantitative seal on brand of prepacked goods group 1; certifying enough conditions to use quantitative seal on brand of prepacked goods group 2. This circular isn’t applied towards prepacked goods such as medicine; preferential goods, exempted with customs procedures; temporary imported goods; goods sent to bonded warehouse; goods made in Vietnam for foreign businessmen; equipment imported to serve investment projects; goods to belong to national secret field; goods to serve emergency requirement; goods to serve measurements of defense and security field.     

At the conference, guests were answered by reporters on prepacked goods at their unit, the Conference brought a lot of practical knowledge for enterprises; management offices concerned prepacked goods in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
