On October 30^th, 2015, in Ba Ria City, Center for Informatics and Science & Technology Information (Department of Science & Technology) held a seminar on reviewing the province’s project of Dissemination Intellectual Property knowledge on Ba Ria – Vung Tau Radio and Television channels. Seminar participants included Mr. Vuong Quang Can – Deputy Director of Department of Science & Technology, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dang – representative of the provincial Farmers’ Association, enterprises and farmers in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

On October 30^th, 2015, in Ba Ria City, Center for Informatics and Science & Technology Information (Department of Science & Technology) held a seminar on reviewing the province’s project of Dissemination Intellectual Property knowledge on Ba Ria – Vung Tau Radio and Television channels. Seminar participants included Mr. Vuong Quang Can – Deputy Director of Department of Science & Technology, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dang – representative of the provincial Farmers’ Association, enterprises and farmers in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

The project was implemented through the program “Intellectual Property and Life” on Ba Ria – Vung Tau Radio and Television (BRT) channels. The Project’s purposes include: improving awareness of private and public sectors and communities on intellectual property to improve Intellectual Property Law compliance, supporting enterprises enhancing the value of their intellectual assets, creating an interactive platform on Television through “Brand Promotion” Programme.

 Through one year of implementation, the Project has created and broadcasted 24 programs. Every program has a length of 15-20 minutes, divided between 4 categories including “Intellectual Property Information”, “Intellectual Property Focus”, “Expert Opinions” and “For audience”.

In the “Intellectual Property Information” category, the project has broadcasted a total of 50 news about activities and events around the theme of Intellectual Property in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and throughout the country. In the “Intellectual Property Focus” category, there were 20 reports and 4 talks broadcasted.

Besides, the Project has selected and used 07 event films of the programme “Brand Promotion” provided by Intellectual Property Department, created 12 new event films and organized 24 talks with experts about intellectual property and authorities to answer questions relating to Intellectual Property Law.

 In the seminar, Representatives of project managers, Ba Ria – Vung Tau radio and Television and intellectual property experts gave insightful presentations about the project. The presentations includes the following contents: the project report, opinions to enhance quality of state management in Intellectual Property Area, lessons learned from the Project, evaluating the effectiveness of project’s contents to real life applications of businesses and individuals.
