On Nov 27th, the Department of Science and Technology held a meeting to review the research project "The social and cultural change in BR-VT during Industrialization-Modernization". The research was carried by the Vietnam Institute of Culture and Art in Ho Chi Minh City and chaired by Dr. Dinh Van Hanh.

On Nov 27th, the Department of Science and Technology held a meeting to review the research project "The social and cultural change in BR-VT during Industrialization-Modernization". The research was carried by the Vietnam Institute of Culture and Art in Ho Chi Minh City and chaired by Dr. Dinh Van Hanh.

The purpose of the research was to identify the characteristics of cultural and social traditions in BR-VT throughout historical periods and the social and cultural changes during the recent industrialization and modernization. Base on the findings, the research aimed to give recommendations and solutions for the continuing development of Ba Ria – Vung Tau culture and society.

The research was reviewed and graded as good. However, several additional content edits still need to be done before finalizing the project, as recommended by the reviewing committee.
