Acceptance of the research project “History of the management and exploitation of Ba Ria - Vung Tau sea and islands from the early twentieth century (1900-2013)"

On June 14th, the Department of Science and Technology organized a Committee to review and decide whether to accept the research project “History of the management and exploitation of Ba Ria - Vung Tau sea and islands from the early twentieth century (1900-2013)”. The project is carried by Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities with Dr. Pham Ngoc Tram as project leader.

The study reproduced the history of management and exploitation of the sea, and islands within Ba Ria – Vung Tau territory from the early twentieth century as well as scientific and technological achievements in the development of its marine economy. It also proposed several solutions on management and exploitation of the sea and islands.

The Committee graded the project as average and required the project leader to make some modification and addition of data to the research.
