On August 19^th, the Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria – Vung Tau held an advisory Council to select organization and individual to do the research project on "Developing the content and disseminating scientific and technological information in Ba Ria - Vung Tau on the local newspaper and Radio - Television Station in 2016-2018".

On August 19^th, the Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria – Vung Tau held an advisory Council to select organization and individual to do the research project on "Developing the content and disseminating scientific and technological information in Ba Ria - Vung Tau on the local newspaper and Radio - Television Station in 2016-2018". Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Trieu, Deputy Director of the Center for Scientific & Technological Information and Statistics, applied as the project leader.

The project aims at developing a specific program on the provincial media to disseminate knowledge of science and technology. The program will also support businesses and individuals by providing information on science and technology to apply to production and to real life, thus increasing competitiveness, expanding markets, promoting growth and improving the production and business efficiency. In addition, the program is expected to raise agricultural workers’ awareness of the application of science and technology to production.

The advisory Council stated that the project is in urgent need to implement in order to provide and promptly report on the scientific and technological information to organizations, businesses and people in Ba Ria – Vung Tau and in other provinces as well. The Council agreed to implement the project but required the project leader to edit project name and modify some contents of the project.
