The PM made the point on April 3 at the Government’s regular meeting in March.
The Minister of Science and Technology and the Viet Nam Software Association (VINASA) presented a special report on the fourth industrial revolution which mentioned some solutions to take advantage of the event.
Professor Tran Dinh Thien suggested building a digital conversing strategy, intelligent administration, digital connecting infrastructure, network security, human training, digital industry, intelligent agriculture, intelligent tourism, innovative ecosystem, start-up, and smart urban areas.
Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam proposed making breakthrough actions in technology and information such as deployment of broadband infrastructure; development of public services and IT manpower quality.
Addressing the event, PM Phuc assigned the Office of the Government to research and build a resolution and direction on the issue.
He stressed the necessity to optimize opportunities and minimize challenges from the revolution. Especially, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Information and Communication, press agencies, SOEs were asked to strengthen awareness of the revolution.
The Government chief recommended the Viet Nam Academy of Science and Technology and the Viet Nam Academy of Social Sciences, experts, scientists, enterprises, and people seize the opportunities to make breakthroughs in socio-economic development.

Especially, Viettel and FPT were assigned to lead the industrial revolution in national development.
The Ministries of Education and Training, Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs were entrusted to prepare for a contingent of good experts./.
