VN, Armenia enhance cooperation across all fields

Viet Nam and Armenia affirmed their determinations to promoting relations in politics, economy, education and sciences, as well as in cultural and tourism exchange, and people exchange.

The statement was made during the meeting between Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh and Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on October 12 on the sidelines of the 17th Francophonie Summit in Armenia.

At the meeting, the Armenian President expressed his delight on the development and integration of Viet Nam, congratulating the nation for its great achievements in socio-economic development.

Deputy PM Minh expressed thanks to the warm welcome of Armenia for the Vietnamese delegation to the summit, congratulating Armenia on its successful organization of the summit, which has upgrade the role and status of Armenia in the world.

In a meeting with Armenian PM Nikol Parshynian on the same day, both sides highlighted the need to promote bilateral economic and trade cooperation matching the Viet Nam-Armenia political relations.

They consented to increase cooperation and share experience in education and training.

Mr. Nikol Parshynian expected to welcome Vietnamese students to study in Armenia.
