On
October 18, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Chanh had
a working session with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development,
localities, and concerned units to listen to the report on the progress of the
feasible research project for the sustainable development of Israel’s high-tech
agriculture in Dong Nai.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, after its field tour to Israel in 2017 Dong Nai decided to implement the project of developing a high-tech agriculture based on Israel’s model. So far, the feasible research project for the sustainable development of Israel’s high-tech agriculture in Dong Nai province has been okayed by the province. At present, the Department has also signed a contract on the cooperation with the Dagan Agricultural Automation Company from Israel in building the project with the 3A Educational Technology Joint Stock Company. Currently, concerned parties are making a comprehensive survey and assessment of the factors that affect the agricultural production in each locality in the province. After these field trips, international agricultural experts will provide advice on the solutions related to sustainable and effective agricultural production which will be stated in a detailed way in the project for Dong Nai. It is expected that the project will be completed by the end of this year.
According to the Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Chanh, the establishment of a feasible research project for the sustainable development of Israel’s high-tech agriculture is a very important task in the efforts to develop Dong Nai’s agriculture. Dong Nai province. The development of the project with the main contents of bringing high-tech production models into reality based on the assistance of international experts will be a turning point to develop a modern, professional and sustainable agriculture of the province.
Therefore, departments and sectors, especially localities are supposed to effectively implement the contents related to the project to help complete the project soon and if districts and communes do not complete their tasks, their heads will have to be responsible for it.
The project is to be replicated throughout the province, not only in one or several models, but the provincial leaders also asked partners to carry out their tasks in the best and most effective way. During the process when foreign experts make a survey on real situations, the grassroots-level agricultural officials should also follow them to learn and get more experience to improve their professional knowledge.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Vo Van Chanh also directed the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to set up a consultative group consisting of the representatives of departments, sectors, and localities to assist experts in conduct their surveys and complete the project.
