In order to concretize the collaboration which has been set up and maintained by both sides, on 19/03/2019 in Hà Nội, Mrs. Bùi Thị Huy Hợp, Deputy Director of Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion, Ministry of Science and Technology (VISTIP) has received Mr. Muhammad Faheem, the CABI Coordinator of Plant wise in Vietnam from the Center for Agriculture and Bioscience International (CABI).

During the meeting, participants have together reviewed and evaluated efforts made to realize collabotative contents. Take this opportunity, Mr. Muhammad Faheem has informed VISTIP about activities of the Plant wise in Vietnam in the year 2019 and proposed specific collaborative activities with VISTIP to specify the contents was discussed during their last December 2018 visit in Vietnam.

Both sides have openly exchanged about concrete activities which should be implement in 2019 as foundation for building up a master collaboration plan for next years. CABI and VISTIP have deeply discussed on promoting to engage and encourage, attract relevant stakeholders (enterprises, associations, domestic and international agencies) to joint in the collaborative research and development, especially IT enterprises in Vietnam. Beside this, selecting and prioritizing crops, agricultural products and implemented areas were also mentioned.

Ending the meeting, both side agreed to speed up the identified specific collaborative activities in the 2nd quarter of 2019 and continue share and update each other about information relevant professional activities./.
