On the morning of December 1, the Department of Science and Technology accepted the project "Applying science and technology, building a model for rearing Anguilla marmotara, breed and trade achieved productivity and efficiency in BR-VT province " in Bong Trang commune, Xuyen Moc district. The project is implemented by Viet Tam Nong Company Limited.

The project has been implemented since 2017 and is raised in two forms: in cement tanks and in earthen ponds. The total implementation cost is over 3.4 billion VND. After 36 months of project implementation, actual productivity was over 10kg / m2, survival rate was 86%-95.5%, average weight was about 1kg / fish, total output was at least 45 tons of commercial fish.

The Science Council highly values ​​the project's effectiveness. The Science Council suggested the implementing unit needs to follow up more. At the same time, it is important to update some inappropriate points and to follow the practice to achieve high efficiency.
