Advisory Council to determine S&T tasks in the field of Science, Engineering and Technology in 2022

On the morning of November 19, 2021, the Department of Science and Technology held a meeting of the Advisory Council to determine the science and technology tasks in the field of Science, Engineering and Technology – Information Engineering branch  in 2022. Mr. Do Huu Hien - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology is the chairman of the Council.

Implementation of Notice No. 04/TB-SKHCN dated January 25, 2021 on "Proposing and ordering scientific and technological research topics, pilot production projects planned for 2022 of BR-VT province". Recently, the Department of Science and Technology has received 04 proposals and orders in the field of Science, Technology and Technology - Information Engineering branch.

+ Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with the project "Application of WebGIS technology to manage the database of forest land contract, forest environment lease at Binh Chau - Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve Management Board, Xuyen Moc district, BR-VT province" and the topic "Research on solutions to manage and control ships entering and leaving the port, the output of fish caught through the port according to regulations on certification, certification and traceability of caught seafood in BR-VT province”.

+ Department of Industry and Trade with 02 topics "Application of artificial intelligence and big data in the management and exploitation of database software of the Industry and Trade industry" and "Building software to assess the risk of breakdown chemicals and provide early warning of risks of chemical incidents for management agencies and businesses in the province”.

In order to advise the Provincial People's Committee to select tasks with practical contents, suitable for socio-economic development strategies and plans of the province, branches and localities, the Council held a meeting to give opinions, proposals, consideration and selection for the research and implementation plan in 2022. Council members discussed, presented comments, and assessed the urgency and objectives, contents, expected products and feasibility in future application . Council members also made recommendations on amending, supplementing and completing the name of the tasks, research objectives and expected products for proposals and orders in accordance with practical requirements.

Through the assessment at the meeting, the Advisory Council agreed to choose 3/4 proposed tasks, which is to merge the project and topic of the Department of Industry and Trade and the topic "Research on management solutions, control ships entering and leaving the port, the output of fish caught through the port according to regulations on certification and traceability of seafood caught in BR-VT province” of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, to bring on the list of proposals to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval.
