Implementing the contents of Decision No. 4772/QD-UBND dated December 15, 2021 of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province on approving the outline of tasks to implement the project "Application of advanced science and technology in the period 2022-2026 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province”. The consulting unit drafted the project and organized the first seminar for the project on December 2, 2022. Based on the draft and comments at the the first seminar, the second seminar continued to consult with departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, and cities in the province and relevant experts in order to finalize and unify the content of the project to submit to the Appraisal Council and timely deploy the project.

At the seminar, the consulting unit presented an overview of the project as well as the proposed contents of models of application of scientific and technological advances in the province in accordance with the needs, strengths, and development orientations relating the main products of each locality. Then, the consulting unit proposed solutions to implement and replicate the application model of scientific and technological advances, contributing to solving the increase in output value, building brands, solving environmental pollution, building value chains, linking tourism to increase income and to improve the quality of life for people.

Sharing at the seminar, representatives of leaders of departments, People's Committees of districts, cities, enterprises and cooperatives in the province have contributed enthsiastic ideas with the project’s contents.

The Director of the Department of Science and Technology requested the consulting unit to fully and seriously absorb the ideas to complete the project and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.
