Recently, Xuyen Moc District People"s Committee decided to advance VND 50 million for dredging, clearing the Ben Loi - Binh Chau narrow passage to serve circulation of fishers" boats.

Deposition condition of some inland waterways has caused circulation of fishing boats encountered many difficulties. This reality does not only affect the economic lives of fishers, but also caused many implicit dangers, especially during rainy season. To overcome this situation, since 2005, the provincial authorities have put forward many solutions for dredging the Ben Loi - Binh Chau narrow passage. However, the waterways have only been cleared partly and state of deposition remains unchanged.

To solve this situation, the Xuyen Moc District People"s Committee decided to advance Binh Chau commune VND 50 million to urgently dredge, clear the Ben Loi - Binh Chau passage, serving circulation of fishers’ boats. According to Mr. Nguyen Van Trieu, Vice Chairman of Binh Chau commune, upon receipt of the advanced funds, the Xuyen Moc District People"s Committee hired equipment to carry out dredging for the Ben Loi - Binh Chau passage.
