On 13 May, PVC- MS and Vietsovpetro have successfully erected Moc Tinh Rig’s panel row 2. This event marks the completion of construction the panel by constructor Petroleum Equipment Assembly & Metal Structure Joint Stock Company (PVC-MS, Hose Code: PXS).

The panel weighs 1.324 tons and is one of 2 main pannels of Moc Tinh Rig. This is also the 4th and the last panel of the rig manufactured by PVC-MS.

Moc Tinh rig is the biggest rig designed, manufactured and installed in Vietnam. It is invested by Bien Dong POC, Vietsovpetro is general contractor and PVC-MS is onshore manufacturing subcontractor.

Moc Tinh rig project was officially started in June 2010; the project is always on time. Currently, PVC-MS has completed 90% of the workload and are urgently complete fabrication and installation of control systems, vessel access, positioning pile for the jacket.

Expected, in July 2011, PVC-MS will complete the construction and hand over Moc Tinh jacket and top side to the general contractor.
