In 2011, being an investor of 36 projects, totaling over VND120 billion, Vung Tau City has disbursed VND48.2 billion, reaching over 40% of the plan by the end of September. The total disbursement was mainly in a number of projects under construction such as the Dinh Tien Hoang High School, Bui Thi Xuan Primary School, and road to the residential area at Ngoc Tuoc hill.

According to Vung Tau People"s Committee, the disbursement rate of projects invested by Vung Tau city was not high due to some projects had already approved the bidding results such as Ward 12 Secondary school, Ward 5 Secondary school, Tam Nhung Vietnamese Heroic Mother’s historical monument, Bau Trung Culture – Sport - Resettlement Centre ... but there are no ground for construction.
