SAP (NYSE: SAP) – a market leader in enterprise application software – on Thursday presented the SAP University Alliances Program certificates to three institutions in Vietnam namely RMIT Vietnam, Vietnamese-German University, and University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City).
SAP Vietnam country manager Mr. Srinivas Adimulam said University of Economics and Law has become the third university in Vietnam to join the SAP program after VGU and RMIT Vietnam – an offshoot of Australia-based Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Mr. Long said, “By partnering with SAP in this program, we hope to meet our targets of training high quality and adaptable human resources capable of meeting the increasing requirements of the new marketplace.”

As a partner member of the program, Global Cybersoft JSC plays the role of SAP service partner, providing supports through technical guidance and training.

Last month, SAP announced the establishment of SAP Labs Vietnam as the firm’s first research and development center in South East Asia and the 15th lab globally, following the others in Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Israel, the US and elsewhere. The new lab is staffed with almost 40 professionals who are 100% Vietnamese. It focuses on the research, design, and delivery of software applications for the firm’s solutions globally.
According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications, each working professional in IT in the country created about US$13,000 to the economy last year, more than 10 times the per capital income.
