Conference to study the factors affecting the water quality of Da Den lake

On  May 30, Department of Science and Technology Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province held a scientific seminar with topic: "Research on factors affecting water quality of Da Den lake and proposing solutions for integrated management" by Dr.Le Viet Thang and Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan, co-head of the subject. Thu Dau Mot University is the leading agency.

Attending the conference included representatives of the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Natural Resources & Environment, Branch of Environment Protection, Center for Clean Water and Rural Environment Sanitation; Operation Unit of Da Den Lake, Provincial Environment Police; Provincial Water Supply JSC (Bwaco); Provincial Environment and Clean Water Association; Management Board of Industrial Parks; Representatives of local administration of Chau Duc and Tan Thanh districts, scientists from Ba Ria-Vung Tau University and Thu Dau Mot University (HCMC).
The purpose of subject was to concretely assess current water quality of Da Den lake over time and over space, compared with National technical regulation on surface water quality

 

 (QCVN 08:2008/BTNMT, A2 column), consider the water source whether or not for domestic water supply and serve other different purposes. Simultaneously, synthesis and evaluation of sources of pollutants on the basin of Da Den lake, and this is basis to propose control solutions, protecting water quality satisfying domestic water standards.  At the conference, many opinions of experts are released to the chairman to complete implemention tasks for a good result in accordance with local practical conditions and high application in real.
