From 20^th to 22^nd July, at the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, the Department of Science and Technology conducted a training on "Awareness and internal assessment of Quality Management System in accordance with National Standard TCVN ISO 9001: 2008 for state administrative bodies" – Phase 2. Over 60 executives from state administrative bodies of communes, wards, towns and districts in Ba Ria – Vung Tau attended the training course.

From 20^th to 22^nd July, at the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, the Department of Science and Technology conducted a training on "Awareness and internal assessment of Quality Management System in accordance with National Standard TCVN ISO 9001: 2008 for state administrative bodies" – Phase 2. Over 60 executives from state administrative bodies of communes, wards, towns and districts in Ba Ria – Vung Tau attended the training course.

This three-day training course was delivered by Mr. Nguyen Chi Danh – Chief Consultant of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Support Center 2 (SMEDEC 2).

The topics that were covered during the training were: the legal basis of the Decision No.19/2014/QD-TTg and the Circular No.26/2014/TT-BKHCN; types and levels of the assessment; the nature of assessment activities; explanation of some terms related to the assessment in accordance with the Vietnam ISO TCVN 9000:2007 Standards; steps for building and applying the Quality Management System.

In addition, at the training course, participants practiced case studies in assessment and were answered questions related to the implementation of the assessment in practice.
