VN seeks int’l support for high-tech development (04/05/2011)

Việt Nam is extremely interested in nanotechnology for pollution reduction and renewable energy development and hopes to seek further support from international partners, said Deputy PM Nguyễn Thiện Nhân.
Deputy PM Nhân made the remark on April 28 in Hà Nội while receiving Mr. Scott Waugh Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost of the University of California, Los Angeles who is on a working visit to Việt Nam.

Japan to help boost VN's natural rubber production (09/03/2011)

Japan's International Co-operation Agency (JICA) will help Viet Nam to improve the country's rubber industry, which will help reduce the nation's greenhouse emissions.
The US$3.9 million project was signed by representatives from the Vietnamese Government and JICA.
The five-year project aims to help Viet Nam create a plan to replace synthetic rubber, which is made from fossil fuels, with natural rubber.

Vietnam, Japan co-operate in core technology development (24/02/2011)

The Vietnam National Institute of Software and Digital Content Industry and the Core Technology Development Centre of Japan’s Panasonic System Networks Co. Ltd. will co-operate in the development of core technology.
