On December 22nd, 2009, the Department of Science and Technology held to check and take over the theme “Selection and building technical process for custard-apple in Baria-Vungtau Province”. Dr. Bui Xuan Khoi of South Eastern Fruit Research Center is head of theme.

The subject has been made in three years (from 2006 – 2009), with the content of surveying the actual state of production varieties of custard-apple, selection varieties of custard-apple with high productivity; studying to suggest some solutions of propagation, farming work, and handle the bearing flowers, pruning fruit to custard-apple in the area of Baria-Vungtau Province.

The Check and acceptance board has appreciated the practical meaning and high application of the subject for increasing productivity and quality to custard-apple in the province, and asking the head of the subject for the supplement model of transferring technology and training to expand this model.
