Acceptance for subject of expanding lighting protection model in Xuyen Moc and Dat Do District

On 20th May, Department of Science & Technology organized a conference to accept “Expanding lighting model to support for people under Moc Xuyen District and Dat Do in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province”, headed by PhD Nguyen Xuan Anh acting as project chairman and implemented by advanced science and Technology Centre.

On 20th May, Department of Science & Technology organized a conference to accept “Expanding lighting model to support for people under Moc Xuyen District and Dat Do in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province”, headed by PhD Nguyen Xuan Anh acting as project chairman and implemented by advanced science and Technology Centre.

Target of the project is installing 100 lighting systems under lighting demand of some households and public activity place such as Sursery School, kindergarten, hamlet house of culture, culture centre and going to socialize to protect lighting in some regions over the province.

After two implementation years, research group has succeeded following contents:

- Make a survey for 200 household works of people, measuring apparent resistance with 100 position in the region and analyzing lighting data in selected points;

-  Design, implement and measure 100 systems (51 systems in Xuyen Moc District and 49 systems in Dat Do district) to protect lighting under allowable safe level. Straight lighting protection system uses lightning rod as long as all work is located in protected region. Belong to project types; people use straight vertical lightning rod or lighting net. Lighting rod can be independent on the work;

- Organize 10 telecommunication training class to improve awareness on lighting protection for people. Deliver people about 10.000 pamphlets “Instructions to protect the safe lighting for people”.

Acceptance council evaluates that project results give high social efficiency, close with region of Xuyen Moc district and Dong Do where lighting related accidents happens. These results are basis to build definition, standard on lighting model in the province model. This project was ranked good level by the council.
