On 1^st October Department of Science and Technology organized a meeting of Provincial Scientific Committee to check and accept the Scientific Theme: “Research, design a device can throw a rescue buoy to reach a victim at sea”, lead by Colonel Le Huu Son, Vietnam Institude of Armament.

The objectives of the theme are to supply the sea rescue team with a device that can to throw a rescue buoy or a rope aid to victims and encourage them to use it to swim to safety. This device must ensure the accuracy and safety when using it in rescue work on beach with tourists.

The Scientific Committee highly appreciated the application capability and practical significance of the subject. Howwever, this device needs be adjusted on structure and performed the testing step before going into mass-production. If successful application this device will help rescuers raise the efficiency of rescue at sea. The study was accepted and graded fairly.
