The Department of Industry and Trade recently held a meeting on adopting the scheme of supporting industry (SI) development of BR-VT province in the period 2011 - 2020 and visions to 2025, reported by representative of the consultant - Institute for Strategic Studies, Industrial policy – Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Objective of the plan is to clarify BR-VT potentials, resources and characteristics for SI development as well as orientation and solutions for SI development serving for management of planning development policies; accordingly, planned industries will be mechanics, electrics - electronics and chemicals. On this basis, BR-VT will build the project on SI development of BR-VT province, appeal and attract foreign investment into SI, develop domestic enterprise system, intensify SI development in the local, training human resources, information support, market and business association. The total investment capital is VND 4,850 billion.

Planning for BR-VT province’s supporting industrial development in the period 2011 - 2020 and vision to 2025 was adopted.
