The event, the second time of its kind, was held by the Vietnam Record Book Center at the Vung Tau Touriam Fair on January 12-13, with many exciting activities such as: presenting calligraphic works to visitors, calligraphic performance, selling calligraphic works to raise fund for charity, unicorn-lion-dragon dances performed by the famous dance troupe of Phuoc Anh Duong and the performances of Vietnamese recorders. The event is a cultural activity to look towards to the roots and honor the traditional cultural values, elite culture in the art of calligraphy. On this occasion, the Vietnam Record Book Center recognized and presented eight calligraphy-related records.
100 calligraphers gather in Vung Tau
More than 100 people from 12 famous calligraphy clubs throughout the country grouped up in the southern coastal city of Vung Tau on January 12.
The event is a cultural activity to look towards to the roots and honor the traditional cultural values, elite culture in the art of calligraphy.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Record Book Center recognized and presented eight calligraphy-related records.
