With the purpose to train, propagate, spread knowledge about radiation safety, held garbage collection units to realize, detect, cope with suspicious radiation sources, support competent authorities to manage nuclear radiation safety in the province. On June 30^th, 2015, in Ba Ria City, Center for Applying Science & Technology Advances (Department of Science & Technology) in combination with Economics Department of Ba Ria City held the conference to train, propagate, spread knowledge of realizing radiation source.

With the purpose to train, propagate, spread knowledge about radiation safety, held garbage collection units to realize, detect, cope with suspicious radiation sources, support competent authorities to manage nuclear radiation safety in the province. On June 30^th, 2015, in Ba Ria City, Center for Applying Science & Technology Advances (Department of Science & Technology) in combination with Economics Department of Ba Ria City held the conference to train, propagate, spread knowledge of realizing radiation source.

The conference includes about 100 delegates who are leaders of quarters, representatives of wards, communes and owners of garbage collection units in the province. Taking part in the conference includes Mr. Nguyen Kim Truong, Deputy Director of Department of Science & Technology, representative of infrastructure economics Department of Ba Ria City; Dr. Dang Duc Nhan, former Deputy Manager of Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute.

At the conference, Dr. Dang Duc Nhan spread basic knowledge about nuclear radiation safety; radiation sources and application in Ba Ria-Vung Tau; the way to realize and cope with suspicious signs relating to radiation source; warnings with radiation sources afloat with garbage; law documents relating to atomic energy field. Questions, complaints about radiation safety of delegates were also answered at the conference.

In Tan Thanh, June 29^th, 2015, Center for Applying Science & Technology Advances in combination with District People’s Committee held the conference to spread knowledge of realizing radiation source for more 80 delegates.
