On Nov 23th, the Department of Science and Technology organized a meeting to review 18 projects applied for the program “Science and Technology Program to support Ba Ria – Vung Tau companies to improve productivity and product quality”. Mr. Vuong Quang Can - Deputy Director of the Department chaired the review committee.

On Nov 23th, the Department of Science and Technology organized a meeting to review 18 projects applied for the program “Science and Technology Program to support Ba Ria – Vung Tau companies to improve productivity and product quality”. Mr. Vuong Quang Can - Deputy Director of the Department chaired the review committee.

After having reviewed and assessed projects’ objectives and contents to decide if they meet the Program’s requirements, the committee agreed to support 16 out of 18 projects with a total funding of VND 379.5 million, details as follows:

- Support 9 companies to build their TCCS (fundamental standards applied and announced to specific companies).

- Support 6 companies for ISO 9001:2008 consultancy and certification.

- Support 1 company to recertify for BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and update to BRC-7.
