On March 12, Department of Science and Technology checks and takes over the project attached to 2009 scientific and technology program supporting enterprises, namely “Investment of software system used for designing coastal engineering”. It is implemented by DK Engineering Joint Stock Company.

The project has integrated with three kinds of software, such as Staad-Pro V81 (analysis and calculation of structure), Staad-Offshore (analysis and calculation of structure based on influence of marine wave, wind...) and Caesar II & PV’ Elite (stress analysis, calculation of pipeline,…). Through the application process of the software systems used for designing engineering works; especially coastal engineering, time spent to designing projects in engineering works is reduced, design solutions are improved in terms of accuracy, which create good conditions for high-tech engineers worked in professional environment…

The jury highly appreciates the project in terms of economic efficiency and unanimously checks and takes over the project as well as asks the head of the research group to add detailed features of software  to the project report.
