Hop previously mentioned the development of a Vietnamese social network where readers can find everything they want to know about Vietnam, from culture to traditions to history.

This is a big project for the Government and MoIC to mobilize Vietnamese minds into building a giant network on education, entertainment and information-sharing. MoIC aims to turn the site into the top information network in Vietnam.

Go.vn is the first Vietnamese social network that offers interaction with users on three foundations, Internet, telecommunications and television.

The site has many pages: the education-knowledge page providing lectures and study methodologies for students; GoViet – a modern encyclopedia where users and experts discuss and share their data on history, culture, geology, economics, social, etc,; communication page – users can connect with each other via GoBlogs and GoMobile; business page – where users can join auctions, seek business opportunities, etc.; entertainment page – with over 2 million songs at goMusic, over 1 million video clips at goClips, 20 million pictures at goPhotos and many online games.

Minister Hop expected that Go.vn will become a general university of Vietnamese and the common house for the people and the online community.
