On VARANS’s side, paricipating in the receipt is Ms. Bui Thi Thuy Anh, Deputy Director of International Cooperation  Division.

 The two sides have taken this time to exchange information and discuss on the Vietnam-United States of America cooperation relationship as well as on Vietnam’s effort in the usage of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

The Director General appreciated the archivements obtained through Vietnam-USA cooperation in the field of nuclear energy generally and through VARANS-US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) in strengthening technical capacity of Vietnam nuclear regulatory body particularly. Also during this discussion, the both two sides have expressed their mutal expectation to further improve their cooperation aiming at providing assitance to Vietnam in its usage of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
