Six Vietnamese high school pupils have won medals at the eighth International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) held in Durban city, South Africa, from December 5-10.

Six Vietnamese high school pupils have won medals at the eighth International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) held in Durban city, South Africa, from December 5-10.  

Le Minh Duc, Tran Minh Tuan, and Vu Dang Minh Quan were awarded silver medals, and Nguyen Van Minh, Hoang Trong Nam and Luong Viet Hoang bronze medals. All of them are from the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School.       

The awards ceremony was held on the evening of December 9 at the George Campbell School of Technology.

This year, nearly 600 high school pupils under 15 from 46 nations and territories around the world joined the IJSCO in the three fields of natural sciences - physics, chemistry, and biology.
